Dedaj, Mehaffie to wed May 25
Johnathan M. and Melissa M. Gunter of Belmont announce the engagement of their daughter, Alinna Dedaj, also of Belmont.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of John M. and Kathleen E. Deming and Ellen Struble and the late Earl R. Struble.
She is a member of the class of 2003 at South Point High School. She is a 2007 graduate of Appalachian State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in sociology and minored in English. She was also a member of the Campus Crusade for Christ.
The groom-elect is Daniel Ryan Mehaffie of Boone.
He is the son of Michael and Sharon Mehaffie of Raleigh and the grandson of Madeline Mehaffie.
He will also be an ASU graduate this May, having earned a degree in sociology.
A May 25 wedding is planned in Banner Elk at Banner Elk Christian Fellowship. Following the wedding, the couple will reside in California.
