Praise in the Park
Belmont Foursquare Church will have an event at Stowe Park, Sept. 21.
The church’s fifth annual “Praise in the Park” celebration will start at 10 a.m. that Sunday. Guests will enjoy praise and worship, followed by a picnic meal provided by the church family. Simply bring a blanket or some lawn chairs.
After the meal, there will be games for all ages and a time of fellowship for everyone.
Belmont Foursquare, located at 8 Elizabeth St. in Belmont, welcomes everyone. Sunday School for all ages is available at 9 a.m., followed by a time of a fellowship. Regular service times are Sundays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. A staffed nursery is available at all times.

‘Rockin’ Around the Church’
St. Mark's United Methodist Church will host "Rockin' Around the Church" April 13, starting with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., worship at 11 and the main festivities on the grounds from 12:15 to 5 p.m. The revival-style event will bring back memories of the past, starting with the foundation of our church, tracking through the years to ministries today. There will be music from the church’s founding years (both hymn and popular music), provided by the praise band, classic cars from the period and food for all.
